Logan the animal
Victor looks down at the tied Logan and smirks before viciously kicking him and chuckling at his brother's pain, "Well brother I have no use for you so" he lifts Logan up and walks over to the edge of a cliff, "Goodbye" he says then smirks as he throws Logan over and walks off.
Logan winces as he falls down the cliff, hitting rocks and ripping his fur and flesh brutally, he finally hits the bottom and just lays there, shaking, the ropes that were tying him got cut off on the rocks but the muzzle that Victor left on him didn't, he can barely breath and shakes,
come on....start healing already.... but nothing happens...
Rogue senses that something's wrong and shakes a little then stops outside the mansion and lowers her ears a little as she see's the necklace that he gave her, she looks at it for several minutes,
there's no way that he would have given me that nice of a gift if he was going to do that...I wonder... she sniffs again then frowns as she catches Victor and Mystique's scent's she doesn't recognize them but does recognize some claw marks on a nearby tree,
Victor! and if Victor was here then...Mystique....they tricked me...that wasn't Logan in his bed yesterday she can't help but wag her tail slightly with happiness and relief and she realizes this is true.
She quickly follows Logan's scent again till she reaches the cliff then she frowns and looks over the edge, gasping when she see's Logan at the bottom, "Logan!"
Logan manages to lift his head slightly and look up at Rogue, he shakes a little as he's still not healing, too weak to talk
Rogue whimpers and quickly turns and runs back to the mansion to get some help for Logan.
She gets back to the mansion only to be stopped by Cyclops who grabs her by the back of the fur, "Hey no dogs allowed" he scolds her, Rogue is far too worried about Logan to care about Cyclops, she turns sharply and sinks her teeth into his hand, he jumps and quickly let's go of her and cradles his hand.
The second he releases her Rogue takes off and finds Beast, barking madly in hopes that he'll follow her.
Beast looks at Rogue and frowns, knowing she's trying to tell him something, "Alright Rogue alright what is it?"
She quickly heads to the door and turns, barking at Beast who thankfully understands and follows her
She sighs in relief and leads Beast to the edge of the cliff then barks and tries to find a way down, she see's a narrow trail and quickly follows it to the bottom then she trots over to Logan slowly and gently nuzzles him, trying to offer some comfort.
Beast follows Rogue then gasps when he see's Logan he goes over and very carefully and gently lifts him up, "Don't worry Rogue...we'll get him fixed up just fine..." he says and goes back to the mansion to work on Logan. Rogue whimpers slightly with worry and follows after Beast
Several Hours Later
Logan slowly opens his eyes, trying to get them to focus.
"Logan?" he hears a female voice say worriedly.
He closes his eyes again wearily then opens them up a few minutes later, his vision slowly focusing enough to see a wolf with a white streak in her fur wagging her tail and grinning, Logan recognizes her unique scent almost at once,
Rogue? he thinks as she speaks, "Logan" she says again
He tries hard to keep his eyes opening, his lips curving upwards in a slight smile, "Hey kid..." he manages to say in a weak whisper before closing his eyes again, he feels something cold and wet against his cheek and opens his eyes wearily again in time to see Rogue gently licking him, "Get well soon Logan" she says before Logan blacks out again.
About an hour later, Logan opens his eyes again and yawns, feeling much much better then he did before, he immediately feels Rogue nuzzling him and he smiles, "Hey kid...miss me?"
Rouge wags her tail happily and nods, "I was so worried about you...Beast...
he didn't think you'd survive..."
Logan can't help but snort a little, "Beast should no better then that nothing can kill me"
Rogue nods then lowers her ears a little, "What happened last night Logan? And I want the truth" I can't believe that was really you in your bed yesterday...with Jean...but I wanna know the truth...
Logan frowns a little, "Well...I know you probably won't believe me but...I walked out of your room after giving you the necklace and Victor was waiting in my room, he grabbed me and injected me with...something" he frowns, "Then I woke up under my bed like...well like this but all tied up..."
Rogue listens to Logan's story carefully and nods, "I believe you Logan" she says softly and smiles.
Logan smiles back and looks a little nervous, "Can I tell you what I didn't get the chance to before?"
Rogue nods, "Yes of course, go ahead Logan" she says and wags her tail lightly.
Logan nods and looks down for a second, "Well...you see Rogue...the reason why I kept leaving all the time was...well...I've got some really...really strong feelings for you..." he says and waits for her reply nervously
Rogue stops wagging her tail as she takes in what Logan said, Oh my gosh...did...did he just say...is he saying that he likes me.... softly she replies, "Logan...are you trying to say that you like me?"
